Warri Wolves on Wednesday at the Warri Township Stadium beat FC Ifeanyiubah 3-0 to maintain its hope of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) title race.

The Seasiders got its first goal through Gboilaham Salami in the 18th minute as Ikechukwu Ibengbu doubles the lead.

The loss by Ifeanyiubah puts a question mark on coach John Obuh’s ability to handle the millionaire club owned by Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah.

At Markurdi Lobi Stars recorded a clean slate victory by beating Bayelsa United 3-0, while at Nasarawa United Suleiman Dogo got his first victory in charge walloping El Kanemi 4-2.

Abia Warriors made no mistake to top ambitious Giwa FC 2-0 at Umuahia, while Shooting Stars of Ibadan came from a goal down to beat Wikki Toiurists 2-1 at the Lakan Salami Stadium Ibadan.

Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano improved its status also with a 2-1 victory over Heartland of Owerri, just as Kwara United also compounded Dolphins of Port Harcourt relegation problems with a 2-1 victory in Ilorin.

At the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu, Rangers got the maximum points with a lone goal over relegation  bound FC Taraba as Akwa United and Enyima of Aba ended their encounter 2-2 at Uyo.
