Wikki Tourists of Bauchi coach, Abdul Maikabi and the captain, Mustapha Ibrahim have said that it would be payback time at Nigerian champions, Kano Pillars as they clash in one of the Week 18 fixtures today.

The Bauchi side will be the guests of Pillars in today’s Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)/Glo Premier League at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.

The captain corroborating the coach’s earlier comment on defeats to Pillars said that for four seasons running the Pyramid City side has been victors on their home ground, Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium (ATBS), Bauchi.

“We are excited with the NPFL Week 18 fixture clash against Kano Pillars today.

“It will be a payback time right there at the Sani Abacha Stadium, because we are determined to revenge almost four seasons defeats in the hands of Pillars.

“Pillars has always beaten us in past meetings and now it is bragging that it is undefeated for 12 years in Kano.

“We will break the jinx by going all out there to beat them hands down at least to settle some scores.

“We are in good form heading into the clash further boosted by the hard fought 2-1 win against El Kanemi Warriors in Bauchi on Sunday.

“It’s going to be convincing victory as we will not be contented with a draw,” said Ibrahim.
