Urhobos, particularly supporters of Delta State Labour Party governorship candidate, Chief Ogboru, have been told not to be distracted by last Presidential and National Assembly election results.

Olorogun Joe Omene, President General of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), who gave the advice in a telephone chat with our reporter on the outcome of the March 28 elections, advised that the Urhobos and supporters of Ogboru should rather focus on how to actualise their governorship dream for the Labour Party candidate.

He further disclosed that the UPU would embark on a massive education of voters across Urhobo land on the Labour Party logo of ‘Mother and Child’ through the electronic and print media to avoid error of voting for the wrong parties in the April 11 election.

The Mosoga born UPU president general again disclosed that a meeting between the executives of UPU and the president generals of the entire Urhobo nation has been scheduled to hold at his resident in Mosoga to deliberate on the outcome of the March 28 elections and to forge the way forward.
