All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta State House of Assembly candidate who contested the April 11 election to represent the people of Ughelli North Constituency II has accused his opponent on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of stealing the mandate given to him by the people.

He alleged that votes were stolen through massive rigging of the Assembly election as he headed to tribunal to claim back his mandate.

Addressing newsmen, Okorodafe said “my hope is in God and the tribunal where rigging does not exist”.

He thanked his numerous supporters and urged them to be calm saying, “justice delayed is not justice denied”.

He assured that he would recover his mandate at the tribunal and put back smile on their faces.

Okorodafe thanked Chief O’tega Emerhor for his efforts to see that APC succeeds in Delta State and whose efforts PDP thwarted through massive riggings.

Okorodafe vowed to fight it out at the tribunal, saying democracy is not allowed through rigging but through peaceful and credible elections after allowing all votes to count.

He told the PDP not to rejoice over the their purported victory because, according to him, “he who laughs last laugh the best”.

He said by the time he finished with his evidence at the tribunal, “the winner shall emerge to laugh last”.
