A Socio- Economic Group in Ekiti State, Leadership Advancement Platform, LEAP, says the leadership style and politics of the National Leader of the All Progressive Congrress Asiwaju Bola Tinubu can only be compared to that of the duo of late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Alhaji Shehu Yar’Adua in Nigeria.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the LEAP described what it called an indellible and architectural work put together alongside other astute politicians at forming the APC as commendable.

The statement signed by the group’s President, Hon. Ayo Boluwade, and the Publicity Secretary, Mr. Femi David, said Tinubu had contributed to the development of many emerging leaders across the country, adding that the views of such personality deserved more attentions than any other individual or group in the current new Nigeria.

Part of the statement read: “Tinubu had developed many people across the country in their various professions through his personal wherewithals and also empowered many others politically.

“The selfless service and patriotism of the APC national leader was also manifested during the last general elections when the opposition defeated the incumbent and ruling party of the PDP for the first in Nigeria history.

“The efforts put together to built APC must not also be expended on how to pull it down, hence leaders of the party must be wary of any power play that could affect the party negatively.”
