Tears On My Pen (To Nomoreloss And Niffer)

It was Nigeria’s late highlife crooner, Celestine Ukwu that said in one of his songs that when one dies ‘’the world continues without one, no matter one’s pride or position.’’

That is very correct. The world has continued to float around without the likes of Nomoreloss and (Niffer Ekpereamaka Iroh) whose sad events occurred recently. Firstly, may their creative and gentle souls rest in peace. Not many people knew that the entertainment scene lost two souls about the same time!

Well, death has remained a mystery that nobody has been able to demystify. It is a necessary end except that the timing forces more twinge in one’s back than anything else. Both of them were still in their prime. For Nomoreloss, he was already a household name in the music arena. But Niffer was just beginning to cut her teeth therein. Still in her twenties, she started as a behind-the-scene (studio owner) and was set to dare the market when the cold hands of death snatched her away via auto crash.

They are gone but the good spirit and works they left behind will continue to inspire the others. Adieu.
