LAGOS (With agency report)

Still smarting from its week 27 home win over fellow strugglers, Sharks FC of Port Harcourt, Taraba FC will hope to consolidate on the form and possible escape the drop at the end of the season, having being second from the rear on the league table.

The northern outfit has had a poor run of form in the league, which has seen it won only 26 points from 27 matches. The match against IfeanyiUba FC, which is placed 10th with 38 points is one the strugglers will watch out keenly.

Unfortunately, IfeanyiUba, which lost 0-4 to Enyimba in week 27, is fired up to impress and will possibly leave nothing to chance to grab the maximum point in Nnewi.

On the other hand, Bayelsa United, which comes last on the table with 23 points from 27 matches, will be a guest of Dolphins, who are also struggling for survival.

The week 27 result, which it drew with fifth-placed Giwa FC of Jos did very little to improve the fortunes of Bayelsa State-owned club and a trip to Dolphins is one it must come back unscathed.
