Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, on Saturday, hosted some Abuja children to an Eid-el-Fitr party where she revealed that she still personally cooks the husband’s meals. Two hours  into the party, held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Aisha announced that she had to hurry off back home as there was no one else to cook her husband’s dinner. According to her: “I’m going to leave you soon. I want to go back home to cook for my husband. My children are here playing with you, so nobody is at home, only my husband. “So, I want to go back home to be with him and also cook dinner for him.” She assured them that the Muhammadu Buhari administration is committed to the welfare and development of Nigerian children and charged them to be good ambassadors of their parents and the country. “The future of this great country lies in your hands. You are to complement the efforts of government by working very hard in school and be obedient to your parents. “Tomorrow, you may be the President, the President’s wife, a senator, an honourable member, a governor, a medical doctor, a teacher, a journalist, an engineer, a nurse, a lawyer and the rest of our honourable professions,” she reminded the children. Aisha also enjoined the children to continue praying for other Nigerian children going through hard times at various Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps, due to the raging insurgency in the country.
