Enyimba midfielder, Kingsley Sokari says the Super Eagles is ready to face either Djibouti or Swaziland in the next round of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations champions was drawn bye in the next round of the qualifier during the draws in Russia on Saturday and will face the winner between the two teams in November away from home.

Sokari told Daily Independent Correspondent that he’s not concern about Eagles’ opponents standing both in CAF and FIFA rankings but wants the team to concentrate on getting the maximum points.

“I am not scared of any teams as far as the World Cup qualifiers is concern. However, it will be risky if we take both Djibouti and Swaziland for granted because I believe the teams will have something to offer.” he said.

“I don’t think it will be right to say we should meet Djibouti or Swaziland but I am optimistic that we will beat either teams that comes our way.”

Sokari was part of the Flying Eagles that crashed out in the round of 16 at the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup after losing 1-0 to Germany. He’ll be remembered for scoring a 30-yard thunderboat goal against North Korea in the group stage of the competition.
