Lillian Amah Praises FRSC Officials

Nollywood actress Lillian Amah last we ek was so excited about the way the renewal of her driver’s license was handled by the Federal Roads Safety Corps, FRSC officials that she took to her Facebook Timeline to express her joy.

“I am so totally impressed,” she wrote adding, “My driver’s license expired on my birthday and needed to be renewed. I filled the form online, paid the official fee at the bank and went off to FRSC office in GRA Ikeja to finish the process. To my pleasant surprise, what was a stressful process three years ago took very little time (to complete).

The best surprise was the friendly, helpful and very professional officers who attended to me. Please join me in commending Commander Sholola and his team including Ebiere and Naomi, the two pretty officers at the front desk. The change we sought has certainly come.”

Well, I won’t be surprised if the actress is awarded a ‘Celebrity Marshal’ for this huge ‘endorsement’ she gave the FRSC. I will keep you guys informed.

Emeka Rollas The Dotting Father

I did not drive last Friday, intentionally because where I went to, there was no parking space and I hate paying some touts money to park. So I took the bus.

On my way back, I stopped under Masha Bus Stop Bridge, Surulere to board the last bus home. I also got a newspaper from one of the vendors under the bridge while I waited and then a light green Toyota Sienna van pulled up and bought a newspaper from the vendor. I looked carefully and it was Actors Guild of Nigeria’s, former Secretary General and Nollywood actor, Emeka Rollas. I hailed him and asked the direction he was headed. It turned out to be my way. So I thumbed a ride and we started catching up on things generally especially issues in Nollywood. He informed he was going to pick his daughters from school on time for their home hairdresser to begin fixing their hair.

“If I allow the school bus come drop them, they will be late and they won’t have time to rest before dusk and I don’t like it when they are stressed.”

Rollas is truly a loving father. I am ‘jealosing’ of you bro. Not all celebrities can have the time to do that. Nice one bro.

Ibinabo Coverts AGN Office?

The news in town at the moment is that the court sacked president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Ibinabo Fiberisima has turned the secretariat of the guild to her private office. She has removed the AGN signboard on the door of the secretariat and replaced it with her own private ‘media’ company.

So what are members of the guild doing, because it was former President, Ejike Asiegbu that got the body that secretariat, the first for AGN which were using under the trees at National Theatre, Iganmu. This is a sad one for AGN.
