NOLLYWOOD actress Lilian Amah is now a published author and this is official!

She took to her Facebook Timeline on Tuesday afternoon to announce that her book titled ‘Dreams of Yesterday’ was ready. She even displayed the cover of the book.

Hear her: “The first copy of my new book just got to me. I am so very excited. Thanks to Dr. Tolulope Idowu for great editing notes, Grey Oji for being my writing partner, Haneefat Ikharo for the Glossary, my muse Bassey Ambah for inspiration and everyone else for their prayers.”

… As Mike Okri mourns friend

OMOGE crooner Mike Okri is a very sad person at the moment. He lost a friend on Tuesday and as the ‘Sniper’ was roving from one celebrity’s Facebook Timeline to the other, this dirge by the singer caught my attention. I hereby reproduce Okri’s soulful post unedited even with the capital letters which Mike likes writing in on Facebook:

“Lost a wonderful friend joe scott awala in naija over the weekend. My heart is heavy that u are gone joe. Though u fought a good fight over d years against cancer, yet u yeilded to the angry claws of death…So soon. All i can say now is that with god i believe death has lost it’s sting & u are in a better place to suffer no more. Rest in peace in the lord’s graceful bossom. Amen!”
