LIVERPOOL boss Brendan Rodgers has ruled out selling Raheem Sterling.

roger1Sterling’s future with the Reds is in major doubt as he is currently stalling on signing a new deal at Anfield.

The England international, 20, has reportedly turned down a new contract worth a staggering £180,000-per-week.

There are fears that Sterling, who broke into the first-team in 2011, will leave the club at the end of the season in order to play Champions League football.

However, Rodgers, has ruled out selling the winger – who has reportedly attracted interest from the Reds’ Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea.

“He’s got two and a half years left on his contract and he is not going anywhere,” said Rodgers.

“Liverpool is one of the super-powers.

“The owners have shown that if they don’t want to sell, they won’t sell.
