Former Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Nuhu Ribadu, on Friday urged Nigerians to support the Federal Government’s efforts in fighting the Boko Haram terror group.

Ribadu made the call while reacting to the growing trend of suicide bombing and terrorist attacks, shortly after he visited the victims of the recent Jimeta market bomb blast at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Yola, Adamawa State.

He stated that terrorism had no boundary or country and the present administration needed the people’s support to bring a lasting resolution of the problem.

“Terrorism is a global phenomenon that needs collective support in the ongoing effort to defeat it.

“I have confidence in the present administration to put an end to the Boko Haram activities, together with the maximum cooperation of Nigerians,” he said.

Ribadu also prayed for the families of the blast victims and wished those who were still receiving treatment quick recovery.
