The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Bala Mohammed, has urged Abuja residents to spread the gospel of love, sacrifice, tolerance and peaceful co-existence as they join the world to celebrate this year’s Easter.

The Minister made this call in his Easter Message as Christians commemorate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Mohammed congratulated the residents, particularly the Christian faithful on the occasion and noted that the celebration calls for sober reflection as well as emulating the sacrifice and exemplary life of Jesus Christ.

He charged them to rededicate themselves to the service of God and humanity to make the world a better place and to continue to be their brothers’ keepers.

“As you pray for the nation, I enjoin you to also pray for its leadership, for God to continue to guide, protect and give President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan the strength and the wisdom to steer the affairs of state”, he added.
