THE commissioner representing Ughelli North and Ethiope East Local Government areas on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Chief Chris Obiuvwevbi, has reiterated his commitment to the commissioning of several life touching projects before he leaves office.

Obiuvwevbi (popularly known as Ominimini) reiterated his commitment to the people’s welfare in an interview with newsmen after commissioning an electricity transformer project at Samagidi and presentation of two buses to Una and Ughrude communities’ women leadership at Agbarha-Otor.

“My multiple life touching projects commissioned shall continue to speak for me now and after office,” he said.

He urged the affected communities to always express their profound gratitude first to God and again to Governor Emmanue Uduaghan, who gave him the opportunity to serve.

Obiuvwevbi noted that though he may have made the presence of government projects possible in the areas and at the various communities, if Uduaghan had not given him the opportunity to serve, he would not have been there for the people to benefit.

“All what you are seeing or enjoying today are made possible by Governor Uduaghan’s administration and his good governance,” Obiuvwevbi added.

He also distributed several trailer loads of school benches, teachers’ writing tables and chairs in some primary and secondary schools.

He urged the benefactors to take care of whatever project allocated to them to guide against vandalisation and wanton destruction by those he described as enemies of progress.
