A cleric, Prophet Dr. Adesoji  Abegunde, the General Overseer of Christ Salvation Christian Centre, also known as  Son of Jehovah World Outreach,  has emphasised the need for individuals to desist from playing foul play with God.

Abegunde said this during the eighth anniversary of His Praise Deliverance Chapel  in  Ogudu.

Lamenting how the craze for financial prosperity has taken over the church, he called on clerics and individuals to retrace their steps to the truth embedded in God’s word.  He also charged them against seeking power/help from devilish sources.
“If you are not spiritually born again, you will continue to live a meaningless life. If you are truly serving God, ‘The I Am That I Am’ your life can never be in a mess. Playing foul play brings fruitfulness. But being born again has no meaning to people any longer these days. Even born again still lie and do evil,” he added.

Speaking on the anniversary theme: ‘I Am Who I Am,’ the host and General Overseer of His Praise Deliverance Chapel, Prophet Gbenga Ajadi ,  noted that it pays to serve God in spirit and in truth.

Tracing the beginning of the ministry, Ajadi who said God directed him to leave the oil company where he rose to the level of a branch manager to being a full time pastor, was full of thanks to God for His mercies and provisions so far. He also appreciated his wife, Pastor Mary Ajadi for her relentlessly support and understanding.

Part of the anniversary activities include drama presentation,  songs ministration, presentation of awards, ordination of leaders, presentation of next year’s calendar  among others.
A representative of the awardees, Professor Oni Bamikole Fagbohungbe, Department of Psychology, University Of Lagos (UNILAG), thanked Prophet Ajadi for the initiative/ honour while praying that God would continually use him mightily.
