Jos – The Plateau State government has offered a reward of N10 million for information that would lead to the arrest of the killers of Lazarus Agai, the monarch who was killed at Bokkos Local Government Area of the state two weeks ago.

Agai, the Saf Ron Kulere, and chairman, Bokkos Local Government Traditional Council of Plateau State, was murdered in his home village, Sha. The police are yet to apprehend or identify his killers.

Mr. Adekunle Oladunjoye, commissioner of police, on Wednesday at Plateau State Police Command, while delivering his speech during the working visit of the AIG Zone 4, Agboola Oshodi Glover, to Jos, said: “So far no arrest has been made; we want to ensure that the culprits who carried out the killing are arrested.

“Our men are working round the clock to clamp down on criminals in the state.”

He, however, lamented that patrol vehicles and communication systems were inadequate, but “we have spoken with the Plateau State governor and he is willing to assist.”
