A group, Eko Titun Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Support Group, has called urged Igbos in Lagos State to discountenance the threat handed to them by Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, and instead vote massively for the governorship candidate of the PDP, Jimi Agbaje come Saturday.

The group expressed shock at Akiolu’s threat to Igbos to the effect that they must vote for the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), Akinwunmi Ambode, or risk dying in the lagoon.

“We are shell-shocked with the irresponsible and inflammatory comment of Kabiyesi and we say with all sense of responsibility there is the need to draw a line as he has clearly crossed the line of royal decency and violated the electoral laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“As a nation, we cannot afford another tribal war in the 21st century. We want peace and harmony in this country and no one or no group of people will be allowed to turn us or our supporters into slaves,” the group stressed in a statement.
