A 43-year-old Pastor has been arraigned before an Abuja Magistrate court for transacting a landed property business worth N1.8m with his colleague with forged documents. The clergyman however pleaded not guilty to the 2-count charge of forgery and cheating levelled against him.

The Police Prosecutor, Mariam Okoli told the court that one Pastor Justin Zobasi of Phase 2, Site 2, had filed a petition against the accused at the Kubwa Area Command Headquarters alleging that the accused fraudulently sold a plot of land to him with forged documents at the cost of N1.8million.

The Magistrate, Elizabeth Wonni granted the accused bail in the sum of N400, 000 with two reasonable sureties, one who must be a civil servant of not less than Grade Level 7, resident within the court jurisdiction.
