Following the conclusion of the 2015 elections, the Oyo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OYSAA) has advised politicians in the state to remove illegal posters and campaign materials scattered across the nook and crannies of the state.

In a statement issued in Lagos by the Director General of the agency, Mr. Yinka Adepoju, it said it was ready to embark on total cleansing of the environment to give the state a new look devoid of what has been prevalent in the last five months since political campaign kicked off.

The statement urged politicians to heed to the advice as failure to do so may lead to imposition of sanctions on erring political parties and politicians. The agency said it had created a level playing field for all political parties to display their campaign posters and billboards across the state to enable them reach out to the electorate without any hindrance whatsoever.
