Osmond Maintains Professional Dream

The 2014 Kids Golf International (KGI) champion, Diana Osmond, has vowed to be focused in her game to achieve her dreamed profession al status.

Osmond made this statement against the backdrop that she is at the twilight of her junior career.

She noted that there was the need for her to concentrate on her skill and attitude which were imperative to becoming a good golfer.

According to Osmond, who won the just concluded “Gen. Mufu Balogun @ 70 Golf Kitty” with a gross score of 84, “I’m at a point I need to seriously improve my game, because I’ll soon be out of the junior level,” she said.

Playing off handicap 14 Osmond said, “I have a dream to take my game to the highest level which is the professional status.

“This implies I have to be more focused and determined, because golf is a game that demands maximum concentration and discipline if one must make it.”

However, Osmond who also won the Nigeria Golf Federation (NGF) zonal champion, South West Zone in the women category has opted out.

She also featured in just concluded international championship in Kenya as well as other recent junior tournaments where she came tops.
