While Nwabuoku will miss the match due to travel hitches, Ordega and Oshoola were not released by their clubs. However, the players will join the team for a-two-week training tour in Canada before the World Cup starts on June 6.

It would be recalled that Nigeria did not qualify for the London Olympics after the team was shocked by the Bayana Bayana of South Africa at the final hurdle.

Meanwhile, Globacom has called  on the team to go for victory on Saturday.

Glo advised Falcons in a statement on Thursday to work diligently towards qualifying for the Rio Olympics.

It urged the players not to underrate the Malians, reminding the players that “The ticket is a must-have for Nigeria.”

“It’s a crucial encounter which the Falcons must win to make the second leg in Mali a mere formality,” the statement added.

“The team should remain focused ahead of the match and avoid underrating the Malians which it defeated last month to qualify for the All African Games,” Globacom added.
