Rangers International will this weekend at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu engage Enyimba International of Aba in a crucial Week 19 Glo Premier League encounter to wrap up the first stanza of the season.

The home game is a very crucial assignment for Rangers coach, Imama Amapakabor, who was elevated to the post of Technical Adviser during the week by Rangers management with the mandate to pick a continental ticket at the end of the season.

This implies Amapakabor who got a point on the road at Bayelsa in Week 18 clash must guide the Flying Antelopes to be on target with every opportunity that comes their way to further justify the confidence management has reposed in him.

The recent emphatic home victories by Rangers to a great extent is a ray of hope that the game could go their way this weekend if Week 17 3-1 thrashing of Lobi is anything to go by.

Although Rangers has no spectacular player in the current squad, one thing is working for the club team work and ambitious team players.

However, visiting Enyimba may not be an easy nut for Rangers to crack as both teams have remained arch-rival in recent times.

In 2013/2014 season, the Aba Elephants had the fair shear of their encounter winning at Aba and picking a draw in Enugu and and the question is if history could repeat itself this season.

Interestingly, the Aba side at Week 18 thrashed league leaders, Sunshine Stars of Akure 3-1 to send a signal to the Enugu giants that it would be total war for the maximum point at stake.
