National Coordinator, Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Gani Adams, has urged the wealthy to assist the less privilege in society.

Adams gave the advice while donating some clothing items and cash to some widows and orphans as part of activities to mark his 45th birth day anniversary in Lagos.

“It is a good thing that we put smiles on the faces of the less privileged and widows in our mist every year,” he said.

Adams further enjoined orphans and widows not to be frustrated by their present condition, saying  it is not the end of life.

“When I lost my mother in 1993, I thought my world had collapsed but six years after that, life took a better shape for me,” he said.

The OPC leader explained that he was propelled to render assistance to the poor in society because of his personal conviction that they could be useful to society.

He expressed gratitude to God for sparing his life to celebrate 45 years and promised to use his life time to render service to humanity.

“I will continue to render service to the less privileged because I am always moved by their plight,” he said.
