Okowa, Uma Ukpai Expected At Anioma One Million-Man Crusade

Flooding, Famine, Epidemic Outbreak Loom In Delta Coastal Areas

Anioma, the Igbo speaking people of Delta State, are set for a one million-man crusade holding at Ogwashi-Uku, headquarters of Aniocha South Local Government Area from August 12-14, 2016.

The Anioma for Christ Crusade Foundation, organisers of the event said Governor Ifeanyi Okowa who hails from the area and other indigenes as well as Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai, a renowned evangelist, and several men of God are expected to grace the occasion.

The group, while describing Anioma as treasure in a trash, said the crusade is billed to display the glory of the land and reverse the fortunes of the area known as Delta North Senatorial district.

Hon. Evangelist Joan Onyemaechi Mrakpor, a member of the House of Representatives, and other notable indigenes are also billed to lead prayers for the development of the area.

The event would feature an empowerment and skills acquisition programme for widows as well as presentation of prayer points on the development needs of different communities in Anioma.
