Ohakim, Asoluka, others, unveil MIIP in grand style

The official presentation/symposium of Most Influential Igbo Personalities otherwise known as MIIP at the popular ultra modern Ibari Ogwa Village Owerri on March 14, turned out to be an epoch making event that attracted renowned personalities of the Igbo society.

Among the personalities present were former governor of Imo state, Chief Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, Chief Chris Asoluka, Amb. Prof Chinedu Asinu-Anosike, Chief Aham-Rowland Okoro, Engr. Emeka Udokporo, Miss Niger Delta, Deborah Alfred Ibeinmo alongside other top shots in the Southeast.

The highpoint of the occasion was unveiling of the book, which Sir Roy Iwuala on behalf of the former governor, Chief Ikedi Ohakim described the author as a thinker whose effort to re-awaken the unity of Ndigbo should be applauded. He therefore lauded him to the admiration of the guests as a hardworking young man whose commitment to service should be hailed.

The former President-General of Aka Ikenga, Chief Chris Asoluka also demonstrated his aptitude as an orator, when he went down memory lane to give personal account on the precocious author, Ugochukwu Favour-Mayor. He described him as a young and committed gentleman whose dedication to service is worthy of emulation.

Promising to invest his wealth of experience on MIIP, brand wizard and CEO Cona Group Limited, Amb. Chinedu Asinu-Anosike assured that he will offer his best of consultation for the advancement of the platform.

Describing the book and platform as a social responsibility, the Chief Executive Officer of Westlog Wines Nigeria Limited, Chief Aham Rowland Okoro urged well-meaning Igbo citizens to adopt it as a way to encourage hardwork in the region.

Adding, the Chairman of Correspondence Chapel in Imo state, Chief Athan Agbakwuru encouraged the author and his team not to relent, stressing that it is one project that needs collective support from all for quality sustenance, even as he stressed that it will go a long way in promoting peace.

Commending the author, Engr. Emeka Udokporo charged him not to give up as it involves constant intellectual inputs for continuity. He therefore lauded the author’s personal lifestyle as an outstanding one, adding that his brilliance will take him to places.
