Martin Ejiogu,  Deputy Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Imo State, has stressed that there is no faction in the state chapter of the party, just as he said that all conflicts in the party hierarchy have been resolved.
Addressing newsmen in Owerri, the State capital, at the weekend, Ejiogu declared that the PDP ward congress in the state was free, fair, peaceful and all-inclusive.
He stated that the party believes in democratic tenets and taking the power to the people, adding that the party’s present strategy was to give everybody a sense of belonging.
He also noted that the congress was a road map to the political victory the people would achieve come 2019, just as he said that the party was ready to receive any politician.
The PDP stalwart, however, cautioned people playing the spoiler’s game in the party to desist or go to another party to test their popularity.
According to him, the party’s ward congress has been completed in Owerri and Okigwe geopolitical zones. He further disclosed that the party’s congress has been concluded in only four local government areas in Orlu zone. “It only remains the other eight LGAs to make up for the 12 LGAs in the zone”, he said.
He described what happened in PDP as a family affair, which has been resolved, while calling on all PDP members across the state to be focused, addind that, at the end, PDP will come out victoriously.
