Nigeria’s High Unemployment Rate Caused By Epileptic Power Supply-Rep

A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Segun Adekola has regretted the unresolved problem associated with power generation in the country saying it required a more pragmatic approach.

Adekola,a member of Federal House of Representatives is also  Chairman,  House of Representatives Committee on Youths Developments.

The PDP chieftain who represents ,Ekiti South Federal constituency I,said it is high time the President Buhari led government diversify the economy by placing more emphasis on Agriculture.

Speaking in Ikere Ekiti on Monday during an empowerment programmer for  500 people in his  constituency  and flagging off  of a skills acquisition programme, Adekola scored Buhari zero in human rights protection.

Adekola, at the event where he distributed Sewing Machine, Grinding Machine, Generator worth millions of naira, said the empowerment became imperative as a fulfillment of his electioneering campaign and way to reduce unemployment ravaging every stratum of the country.

He said the alleged selective way Buhari has been prosecuting his anti-corruption war , culminating in the arrest and detention of many PDP chieftain who served under ex-president Goodluck Jonathan attested to the level of human rights abuses being perpetrated under his government.
