Back in the day, when talking about actors the ladies swoon over, you will call the likes of Ramsey Noah, Chidi Mokeme, Saint Obi, Desmond Elliot, RMD, Muna Obiekwe, Zack Orji, Nonso Diobi, Charles Okafor, JT Tom-West, Emeka Enyiocha and Emeka Ike to mention a few. Today, the names and faces have changed and there are new hunks making the ladies go wild in Nollywood.

Michael Godson

Michael Godson also known as Mr. Ini Edo grin. He made his debut barely 3 years ago, but Mr. Godson who shares certain similarities with Mike Ezeuronye and plays somewhat the same roles as him has quickly become a fan favorite evident from the amount of movies he’s featured in since then, hammering on the fact that it pays to be a yellow paw-paw in the industry wink

Tope Tedela

Tope Tedela first got his major action in Wale Adenuga’s superstory, just before he won the Most Promising Male award at the 2014 AMVCA’s. Tope is an amazing actor with not just captivating skills, but looks as well. We look forward to seeing more of him in coming movies

Shawn Faqua

After his role in Lagos Cougars Shawn has been piling up female fans and that is evident on his Facebook Page. His roles have also doubled in Nollywood.

Gabriel Afolayan

Although he’s far from new to the industry, having been a regular in Yoruba movies. Gabriel is one of the Afolayan clan, and probably the most handsome.  He has the carriage and easy calm about him. He also sings loves song, what more does a woman want.

Ben Lugo Touitou

One of a good number of ‘mulattos’ that would make this list. Ben Touitou is a new favourite the ladies are coming to love. He acts very well taking on the roles of ‘loverboy’ most times. The half-Israeli and half-Nigerian hunk is a star too look out for, though the ladies are already doing the ‘lookin-out’

Gideon Okeke

From Big Brother Nigeria, to Tinsel and now lead actor in cinema-bound movies. Showbiz has been kind to Gideon Okeke and the ladies. It’s not so much his bad boy aura that gets to us, but also his deep baritone. Although Gideon has been repeatedly accused of not being able to shed the Phillip Ade-Williams personae while playing other characters, he still gets roles in big budget movies.

Joseph Benjamin

Unlike most on this list, Joe Ben is not a new comer. He probably cut his teeth before every other actor here. But he had an Haitus that spanned for over a decade but he is back on our screens and better. He has the looks, the voice, and the carriage that makes you think of French wine and Frank Sinatra.

Bryan Okwara

First Mr Nigeria now an actor. What more can we say.

Alex Ekubo

Our own Johnny boy, bless Uti for introducing Nigerians to Alex. What would movies be without his quirky attitude? From Weekend Getaway to Lagos Cougars, Alex shows he has some ‘clownliness’ under all of that sexy and surely provides the comic relief in most movies he features in.

Blossom Chukwujekwu

Blossom is quite androgynous in nature. He has something of a feminine face and an imposing, masculine build. Once you get past the name that reminds you of the eldest of the Power Puff Girls, you’ll come to appreciate the man that is Blossom and his strength. Having shown his versatility from acting as an abuser in Knocking On Heaven’s Door to a somewhat unserious actor who falls in love in Flower Girl and then a caring, Philanthropic Doctor in Forgetting June.

Chris Attoh

Chris is all that is sinfully sexy, captivatingly classy, and hopelessly handsome. He plays the bad boy in movies yet he remains the ladies man. In Tinsel he was the Nemesis of Philip Ade-Williams and in Shuga, he is the ultimate wife-beater. In real life, he is married, yet they still will not let him be.

OC Ukeje

OC Ukeje might be the ladies’ number one heart-throb. He is AMBO’s Golden Boy, The James Bond of Nigeria, our very own Marlboro man. His acting is as flawless as his looks and charm, his expressions say ‘come get it bae’.
