Metro Traffic Watch Debuts On Metro977.FM

One of the top Fm radio stations in the Lagos metropolis, is at it again. The people friendly station has introduced a traffic programme that will aid road users in navigating their way through the turbulent traffic grid usually experienced during peak periods in Lagos.
While flagging off the programme recently in there studios at broadcasting house Ikoyi, the General Manager, Cordelia Okpei stated that the need to dedicate quality time to address the monster called traffic in Lagos gave birth to metro traffic watch. According to the amiable General manager, ‘Lagosians need to know how the roads are whenever they close from work from 4pm. So this programme will go a long way in helping out.
The programme which enjoys the support of the Federal Road safety Commission, Lagos sector runs from Monday to Friday between 4.30pm to 5pm for the first traffic report and again from 6.30pm to 7pm for the second traffic reports. Road Safety field officers are required to call live into the radio station giving on the spot report of the traffic situation at there various locations.
Road users in the Lagos metropolis have therefore been enjoined to key into the programme so as not to be victims of the unending traffic in Lagos.
