Days after moving from Jalingo Stadium FC Taraba forward, Bobby Abel, believes his side will continue to earn results despite their switch to the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi.

The Jalingo side began life in Makurdi, on Thursday against Wikki Tourists in Week 12, after the League Management Committee (LMC) ruled their Jolly Nyame Stadium home ground unsuitable for league action.

“Makurdi is nearby and will be a good ground for us. We are ready for any team,” he said to journalists.

However, Abel could not futurein the Week 12 encounter after picking a red card in the last match at El-Kanemi Warriors.

Abel lamented the marcing order he got in the encounter and said, “I didn’t deserve the red card and we played well to win away. We were in control, but everything changed later.”

Ironically, Abel scored the opening goal of the match, before the home side came from behind to score two goals.

Abel is expected to return to Tony Ogharanduku’s starting XI during Sunday’s road trip to Heartland in Owerri.

After a stint at Adamawa United, he arrived Jalingo and helped the club gain promotion at the end of 2013 season.

Interestingly, Makurdi-based Lobi Stars initially relocated to Jalingo in 2011.
