Prominent Lagos based seer and founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Ayodele Elijah Babatunde, has called on both Lagos State All Progressive Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidates to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship like President Goodluck Jonathan as governorship election draws close.

The prophet in an interview with Saturday Independent in January this year had predicted that, “no matter what, Jonathan will be the last PDP president.”

During a chart with our correspondent, the cleric said, “yes we spoke about President Jonathan’s electoral defeat, however, he has shown that he is a good leader with the manner he accepted the result. Let Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos APC and his counterpart, Jimi Agbaje of PDP do the same after the governorship poll because power comes from God.

“When I was speaking out on the president, my voice was unpopular. God is not a man that would repent. I have said shocker await both Jonathan and Lagos APC in this year’s poll. Well, I think APC has had the first feel with the loss of some House of Representatives’ seats in Lagos. The party should be careful and pray not to be shown the way out. Agbaje and Lagos PDP must also work hard, if they don’t get their acts together too, APC will roundly defeat them.

“Prophecy is not meant to scare anyone. The purpose is to reveal what will happen in future. What I am foreseeing in Lagos governorship poll is a shocker. Tell those who have eyes to see now and those who have ears to hear the voice of God. It is only the party that relies on God alone that will triumph.

“I had said the choice of Ambode for APC needed to be back with prayers. One is not God, with prayers; all things are possible for them that believe in the almighty God. Lagos PDP too has no clear chance in this poll except God is with them. At the end of the day, whoever wins should remember the poor masses and embrace peace because there will always be another time.
