LCCI Petroleum Downstream Group Holds Business Clinic

The Petroleum Downstream Group of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), is set to hold its Second Business Clinic for the year.

The theme of clinic is “Nigerian Petroleum Products Pricing and Forex Liberalisation: Its Implication and Sustainability.”

The Business Clinic, according to LCCI, is scheduled to hold on Friday at Four Points by Sheraton, Oniru Chieftaincy Estate, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Muda Yusuf, Director General of the chamber said: “following the pricing reform in the petroleum downstream sector and the liberalisation of the forex market, it has become necessary to identify new opportunities and challenges in the sector. This according to him , is essential to ensure sustainability of investments in the sector.”

Yusuf further stressed that, “the Petroleum Downstream Group is a very active arm of the chamber known for its constructive engagement on critical issues affecting investment and investors in the oil sector. And that the membership of the group cuts across the major and independent marketers as well as service companies in the downstream sector.”

The Chairman of the Group, Ken Abazie  said that Seasoned Professionals, Leaders of Businesses in the Petroleum Downstream Sector, top Public Sector Officials and relevant government agencies will be available to discuss the theme. Abazie also confirmed that “Mr. Yomi Awobokun, Chief Executive Officer, OANDO Downstream; Captain Emmanuel Iheanacho, Executive Chairman, Integrated Oil and Gas Limited; Mr. Herbert Wigwe Group Managing Director, Access Bank Plc and Dr. Ayo Teriba, Chief Executive Officer, Economic Associates, would make presentations at the event.”
