A labour activist in Kaduna, Issa Aremu, has declared that Nigerian workers will stage a mass protest to demand for good governance following defections of some politicians to the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to him, such defections if not checked, will make Nigeria a one-party state where the aim of change for good will be defeated.

He also called on the President elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), to urgently end smuggling and counterfeit products from China and other countries, saying it will be real acid test for  Buhari’s incoming administration.

While demanding a formal apology from Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akilu, over his alleged threat to Igbos if they failed to vote his preferred governorship candidate in the Saturday poll, Aremu urged traditional rulers to shun partisan politics.
