Kwara United coach, Tunde Abdulrahman, has said his wards were in better shape than before the start of the season as he hopes to guide them to victory against Abia Warriors in Umuahia on Sunday.

Abdulrahman, said  the players are in a high spirit to take the maximum three points at Abia Warriors, noting that he has a target to pick a laurel at the end of the season.

“I’m more confident about the ability of my boys now, they are getting better game by game.

“I hope we can prove we are better now in the game at Abia Warriors in Umuahia on Sunday.

“We have advantage on the road because we have played three and only lost once in Ibadan against 3SC.

“We want to do very well in the ongoing league season,” said the former Wikki Tourists coach.

Kwara United recorded back to back victories at home against Nasarawa United and Kano Pillars in Week 6 and 7 clashes respectively.

The llorin-based side thus, raked in 11 points from possible 21 in the seven-week old Nigerian top flight.

The Harmony Boys will travel to Enugu from Umuahia to play Akwa Starlets in the Federation Cup round of 32 matches scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, 2015.
