INEC Urges parents To Support Their Children’s Political Career

The Bauchi State Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has enjoined parents to always support their children’s political career to ensure a brighter future.
The Head of Operation of INEC in Bauchi, Ishaya Kaze who stated this yesterday during an election organized for the pupils and students of LYS Academy New GRA Bauchi.
Laido Monammed, a JSS 2 student emerged the President of the School while Mohammed Adam, JSS 1 emerged as the Senate President and Mirabel Aluke of JSS 1 is the Speaker of the school.
Kaze who was among INEC officials who conducted the election organized by the management of the school frowned against parents imposing a career on their children stressed the need for parents to encourage them to venture into politics.
He said ” it’s unfortunate that some parents forced a career on their children by insisting they become doctors or lawyers which is against the child wish.
“Parents are suppose to inculcate the sprit of politics into any child who indicates intrest to become politician in the future and ensure the child get every support needed.
Also speaking, the Head of Admin/Human Resources of LYS Academy, Osondu Blaise Ugochukwu said the school which is made up of Primary and Secondary section  was established to inculcate quality education and good moral values to the children who will be future leaders in Nigeria.

According to him, the portfolios contested include President, Senate President, Speaker and Governors of various classes adding that the president will represent the entire pupils of the school .

He said the election was organized to acquaint the children with leadership for the future in the country. He unveiled the plan of the management to establish LYS University.

Ugochukwu thereby thanked all the pupils for their cooperation as well as their  parents and guests for witnessing the event.
