Jos – Senator Jonah Jang, the immediate past governor of Plateau State and Senator representing Plateau North in the Senate on Wednesday issued a press statement saying he was ever ready to come forward to give account of his tenure as governor of the state.

Jang who spoke shortly after Mr. Simon Lalong, Plateau State governor, set up a six-man commission of inquiry to probe his eight years administration in the state, said he was ready as long as the process is without bias and pre- determined outcomes.

Sen. Jang in a statement issued through Comrade Clinton Garuba, his media aide said, “We are studying the composition and terms of reference of the Judicial Commission as constituted by the governor, so we can take an informed decision which shall be our position on the matter.”

The former governor said that he did his best for the state and continued to shield her from all adversaries, foreign and domestic, in ways the present administration can never comprehend.

“As at the last count, the Judicial Commission of Inquiry is the sixth committee Lalong has constituted, mandated, empowered, and inaugurated to probe the tenure of the former governor, and like the rest before it, nothing would be gained except the visible characteristics of all associated with power acquired by accident,” Jang noted.
