Ilori Set For PGAN Qualifier

Wonderful Ilori has said that he is prepared for the next Professional Golfers Association of Nigeria (PGAN) Qualifier School exercise in a bid to actualise his professional dream.

Ilori, 18, from Ekiti State also revealed that he would need to improve in his rating to enable him qualify for the PGAN qualifier which now involves practical and written exercise. “I’m working very hard presently so that I can come down to category one before the year runs out.

This is to enable me register for the next PGAN Qualifier School,” Ilori told Independent, adding that it would also open sponsorship opportunities for him.

Ilori who is also processing admission to study Linguistics at the Ekiti State University said that he would be participating in the forthcoming Nest Hotel Open billed for Ogbomosho, Oyo State.

The Rosani Club, Ekiti junior star was predicted to be among the first-five in the just concluded IBB Open in Abuja, but ended up a distant 10 and he said, “That is golf in practical, you can’t predict it.”

Wonderful was the third best player in 2015 Nigeria Golf Federation (NGF) Junior Masters Open which held in Ilara-Mokin, Akure Ondo State.
