Enyimba international FC of Aba head coach, Kadiri Ikhana, is hoping for a better outing this weekend against Dolphins of Port Harcourt when both sides meet at the Liberation Stadium.

Ikhana blamed the Week 8 home draw on visiting Giwa FC frustrating tactics and said that his boys have promised to up their game for better result.

“I can’t really say that Giwa FC played well because they came with a strategy to frustrate our strikers and with occasional forays on the counter,” Ikhana explained.

Ikhana said that his players were at their best against the Jos Elephants but that their undoing during the match was the inability to convert the chances that came their way.

“My boys tried their best, but we lost the chances that came our way. I have spoken to my players and they have promised an improved outing against Dolphins in Port Harcourt,” he said.

However, analysts are of the opinion that Dolphins’ resurgence will continue this week after accumulation of four points from a possible six points from the last two games which is said to be best the Rivers side has achieved in the league so far.

Sadly, Eyinmba is without a win in its last two games with a poor away record, while Dolphin is yet to lose a league game at home this season and league followers are asking if Mfoh Udoh will add to his goals tally after missing in the club’s last game against Giwa.
