Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, on Wednesday ordered a water tight security for all camps of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, during the airlifting of pilgrims for this year’s Hajj operation.

Emmanuel Ojukwu, Force Public Relations Officer, in a press statement said that the order came during a courtesy call on IGP Arase by Hajj Commission members in Abuja. The visit was led by Alhaji Abdullahi Murktar Mohammed, chairman of the commission.

According to Ojukwu, a Commissioner of Police, “the chairman of the Hajj Commission, was full of praises for various assistance from the police, on security arrangements for the Commission, and expressed confidence in the police leadership of the IGP to deliver adequate security for the Commission and Nigerians at large.”
