Igbuya’s Critics Are Mischief Makers – Amitaye

WARRI – Chief Anthony Amitaye, the president of the oil rich Ugborhen Community in Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State, has described those criticising Chief Monday Igbuya, the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, as mischief makers, myopic and political traducers of the speaker.

Amitaye said that Chief Igbuya was behind the dualisation of Sepele urban roads, the appointment of commissioners, senior special assistants, special assistants, board members and board chairmen from the Okpe and Sapele axes of Delta Central.

He stressed that Igbuya is not a noisemaker who blows his own trumpet, adding that the Speaker donated a school bus to Adaka Grammar School Ugborhen in line with his campaign promise to make learning more conducive in Ugborhen community and to key into the SMART Agenda of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

Amitaye stated that through the Speaker, the perimeter fencing of Adaka Grammar School which was captured in the 2016 budget and was about to commence as contractors were mobilising to site.

He disclosed that the Chief Igbuya attracted the graduates’ agricultural training programme that is ongoing at Ugborhen Integrated Farm to the area.

He also hinted that Igbuya was facilitating the establishment of GSM network mast to connect the isolated community to the rest of the world in line with the spirit of globalisation.

While expressing optimism in the leadership of the Delta State House of Assembly submitted that “using Ugborhen as a case study, you will agree with me that, those who want to give our amiable Speaker a name that is not his own have failed woefully.”

He reminded the critics of Igbuya to take a retrospect to how Sapele was before Igbuya became the speaker, Delta State House of Assembly and how Sapele is now, which is dotted with numerous projects that are on going to the admiration of all.
