Igbo In Bauchi Dissociate Selves From Pro-Biafra Agitations

The Igbo Community in Bauchi state has dissociates  itself from the pro-Biafra agitators, who had been protesting in many cities in the South Eastern part of Nigeria.
The Eze Ndigbo of Bauchi State, His Highness Eze J. Umezika stated this in an interactive session with the State Commissioner of Police Baba Tijjani in Bauchi at the weekend.
The interactive session was part of the Bauchi state command effort to enhance existing police public partnership towards effective policing in the State.
He expressed  worried over the recent agitations by certain individuals in some sections of the country, saying that Igbo Communities in Bauchi are not in support of anything that will undermine the unity and peaceful co-existence of this Nation.
Umezike assured  their willingness to give maximum support and co-operation to the Police in order to provide safety and security in the state.
He  commended the Commissioner of Police  for the warm reception, hard work and selfless service of the officers and men of the command in ensuring peace and stability  in the state.
In his address,  the Commissioner of Police Baba Tijjani assured the Igbo Community of the Command readiness  to providing safe and secure environment for all citizens.
Baba Tijjani urged them not to relent in providing useful information that may assist the police in protection of lives and property in the state.
