Standards Awareness Group has thrown its weight behind President Muhammad Buhari on the anti-corruption war.

National Coordinator, Mohammed Bougei Attah, at a media briefing supporting the fight against substandard products from zero tolerance to ‘operation flush’ campaign in Abuja, on Thursday, said the fight against corruption, particularly in the area of substandard goods and products that have ravaged the economy for very long and destroyed many lives while some local and international producers and manufacturers of these fake products walk the streets freely and getting richer daily at our expense, was long overdue.

According to him, “as an anti-corruption organisation and members of Standards Awareness Group (SAG), we believe in and strongly support the anti-corruption drive of the present administration.

“We also have a responsibility to protect those that are being persecuted innocently and for the selfish agenda and inordinate ambition of few.”
