The Niger Delta Indigenous Movement for Radical Change (NDIMRC) has kicked against calls for the resignation of Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, over the lingering fuel crisis in the country.
The minister had come under heavy fire as fuel crisis lingers with many calling on him to resign just as they kicked against his recent statement that despite the efforts being put in place by the Federal Government, fuel queues might not be eliminated in the next two months.
But NDIMRC, an oil monitoring group, in a statement signed by Nelly Emma, its President; John Sailor, Secretary; and Stanley Mukoro, Public Relations Officer (PRO), urged Nigerians to bear with the minister saying he is equal to the task.
The group said that the minister did not put a time frame of May to arrest the situation, describing it as misinterpretation.
