Nigerians have been asked to be of good courage that God has not forgotten them, in spite of the present situation of the nation.
The General Overseer of Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, gave the assurance at the just concluded two-day national crusade held at Ichi Community Secondary School, Anambra State.
His words: “God has not forgotten you all. He has seen the afflictions that Nigerians are subjected to, the hardship and insecurity; He has heard your cry and has now decided to deliver the people from the biting economic recession and hopelessness into a season of abundance.
“We should not allow the severity of our situation to becloud senses of judgment, but we must know that God rules in the spiritual realm and controls the physical. Therefore nothing is impossible to God. He has the power to kill and make alive; power to make poor or rich, change failure to success and can definitely turn economic recession to economic boom.”
Muoka, however, stated that God allowed Nigeria to degenerate into the unpleasant circumstances because of perversions in the land, adding that when God delivers the nation, Nigerians should be appreciative.
He also used the medium to call individuals to turn away from sin and embrace holiness.
According to him, the programme is also in line with the church’s vision of grassroots revival, reawakening of the apostolic Christian experience and the preparation of souls to make heaven.
Several attendees at the crusade testified to receiving diverse healing from paralysis, blindness, deafness, dumbness and other ailments.
There was also a large turn-out of dignitaries from different parts of the country amongst them are His Royal Highness Igwe Lawrence Okonkwo, the Igwe Anam-aru Ike 111 of Ichi community and the Methodist Bishop of Onitsha Diocese, His Lordship Bishop Livinus Onuagha.
