Lagos– Hon. Segun Olulade member representing Epe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly,  has urged Nigerians to support and  give more time to President Muhammadu Buhari’s  administration in its efforts to reposition the country.

Olulade in a statement issued on Monday, explained that such support was necessary as the nation’s problems cannot be solved in one year, adding that what the administration requires at this critical stage, was the collective support and understanding of all Nigerians.

He said that the administration inherited myriads of problems, urging Nigerians to be patient and align with the change mantra of the Federal Government to reposition the country.

According to Olulade “President Buhari needs more time to actualise his change agenda. Nigerians should give him their support and prayers and know that in no distance period, the desired change being advocated by the present government would manifest.

“It is clear that every Nigeria wants this change to happen as soon as possible, but we must know that change itself takes gradual steps; it doesn’t happen overnight. I am very optimistic that this expected change is bound to bring out some pleasant surprises.”

“The President needs at least one year to consolidate on the promises he made to Nigerians, we only need to be patient and very soon, the dividends of the President’s international trips will begin to yield results.

“The recent visit of the President to China is another milestone towards building a strong alliance that will bring development to Nigeria. Good things are coming to Nigeria. I believe that the current situation is temporary. I believe our President is doing everything possible to bring the suffering of our people to an end,” Olulade added.

He however, advised Nigerians irrespective of religious and political affiliations to pray for God’s intervention in the nation’s socio-economic and political activities, noting that seeking divine intervention would enable the federal government overcome the challenges facing the country.
