Gbenga Aruleba bares Pot Belly On Social Media

Nnenna Partners,  Safeguard For Children’s Hygiene 

Presenter of popular children-centric TV series Nnenna and friends by Wale Adenuga production recently partnered with Procter & Gamble’s anti-bacterial soap, Safeguard to host Nigerian children to a fun-filled and educational celebration. The celebration according to management of Procter & Gamble  was driven by its passion to promote the health status of the Nigerian child.

The celebration saw the attendance of over 7,000 children from various parts of Lagos State was part of the company’s efforts to celebrate children recently.

Tolulope Pogoson, Safeguard’s Brand Manager, said P&G was excited to sponsor the Nnenna & Friends Children party because it is a platform for the company to demonstrate its dedication to the health of Nigerian families, particularly the children, who are the leaders of tomorrow. She further said the sponsorship was in line with the company’s vision of touching and improving lives now and for generations to come.

While addressing the children during the Safeguard Quiz, Pogoson said the future awaits children who reach for their dreams and stay physically healthy, and encouraged them to remain healthy in their journey to become tomorrow’s leaders.

“In order for you to attain your dreams of becoming future leaders, you must stay healthy and strong. It is important you observe basic hygiene rules which involve washing your hands regularly with Safeguard soap; ensuring you have your bath with any of Safeguard’s soap; and ensuring your environment and surroundings are clean at all times,” she said.

The organisers of the Nnenna & Friends  celebration, represented by Wale Adenuga, commended Procter & Gamble for sponsoring the event with the anti-bacterial soap, Safeguard. He noted that the sponsorship was a reflection of the company’s total commitment to improving lives.

Some other attractions at the event included Safeguard quiz, which saw over twenty children win different variants of Safeguard Soaps including the newly introduced Aloe Vera and Menthol; a musical performance by 9ice, games, comedy, dance, and drama.

While some are commending him for being bold enough to post the picture of himself wearing only a short while helping with his daughter’s hair, on his facebook page, some are of the opinion that Gbenga Aruleba the anchor of talk show Focus Nigeria on Africa independent Television (AIT) display of such picture is height of ‘immaturity’.

Aruleba, the famous political journalist on Sunday posted the picture on his wall and the picture which was later shared on various walls on facebook, was still generating lotsof comments as at the time of filing this report.

He captioned one of the pictures “Moi, getting my Baby of the house, Rereloluwa, ready for church for mummy’s birthday thanksgiving.”
