Fiveth Anniversary: Aregbesola Deserves Commendation – Group

A non-governmental organization, Osun Positive Force, OPF, has said
the Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola achievements since
assumption of office deserves commendation by all and sundry, saying
the governor has demonstrated excellence in governance.

OPF, in a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Osogbo
by its Director of Media, Yinka Diamond, felicitated with the governor
on his 5th anniversary in office, stressing the need for all to see
the sincere desire of the governor to take the state to an enviable
height, notwithstanding the recent economic challenges.

The group praised Aregbesola for the achievements recorded by his
administration in the last five years.

“Ever since he came on board, Aregbesola has left no one in doubt
about his capability and doggedness to governance as a celebrated
performer, a welfarist and democracy hero as seeing during the general
elections, one who actually made a difference in the lives of his

“Let’s not forget the governor’s turnaround achievements in education,
agriculture, health, environment, security and infrastructural
development, the sectors neglected in the past. He succeeded in
reforming and repositioning the state for optimal performance.”

Undoubtedly, the proactiveness and responsiveness of Aregbesola’s
government to emergencies and security is worthy of commendation, if
we recollect security of life and property was seriously under threat
before his emergence but his swift response reduced significantly
crime rates in the state as well as providing ambulances.

“Worthy of note is the commitment of the governor to education by
building and unveiling new structures in which both rich and poor
families now have access to qualitative education unlike in the past
where dilapidated structures prevailed. His prioritise attention to
special schools in the state cannot but be commended providing them
enable teaching tools.
