The Federal Government on Thursday afternoon said contrary to media reports on how the 21 girls abducted from Chibok Secondary School in April 2014 were released by their captors, there was no swapping of the girls for four chieftains of the Boko Haram sect.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja, Information Minister, Alhaji Lai ?Mohammed said that their release resulted from confidence building” with Boko Haram.

“Please note that this is not a swap, but a release,” he said.

“We can confirm that 21 Chibok schoolgirls were release at 5:30am today, and flown to Kaduna. We expect them to arrive in Abuja soon. We have the names of the girls and we are now contacting their parents. As soon as that is done, we will release their names,” he said.

He was quick to add that “the release of these girls does not mean an end to military operations, but it is a new phase in the war against insurgency?.”

Government, he said, had assembled a team of medical doctors, social workers and psychologists to examine the girls when they arrive in Abuja.

Why do we hate good news ? Forget who ever you voted for in 2015 and celebrate this development , but if you say chibok was fake and saboteur it implies that :
    (1) The killing of shekau as pronounced by buhari’s prdecessor isn’t real.
    2. Pipeline vandalization is a setup.
3.Ese oruru intentionally followed his sweatheart to the north and was not deceived or abducted as reported.
4.It means boko haram’s attack is staged.
5.The abduction of a monarch in lagos is not true.
6.The abduction of some pupils in igbo nla model college lagos is fake.
7 . The story of babay factories are mere joke.
    8. The kidnapping in some part of the country is a lie.

Either buhari exchanged suspected boko haram members with the girls or paid a ransom is not my business , in as much as some people looted our treasures and nothing happens to them ,in as much as some people have been vandalizing pipelines and still want to be paid , justice must be equal.
Tribalism, nepotism, hatred, envy and political differences is our epidemic and we forget the fact that peace of this country is PRIMA and we should be PRIM about the benefit of this country and not just an individual.

Dont be a protagonist of sentiment and an advocates of one region none of them feel our pains . If the release of chibok girls is the only thing buhari will achieve he will be celebrated globally.
