Flying Eagles rounded up its training tour of Germany with a comprehensive 4-1 defeat of the Freiburg U-23 team.

The Nigerian team preparing for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Germany won its last two friendly games and made it three in three with this latest win.

Standby Flying Eagles striker, Alhassan Ibrahim, continued to enhance his chances of being used as a replacement in case any of the forwards get injured, as for the second game running he was on target.

His goal was the separating point between the Flying Eagles and the Freiburg U-23 side at halftime.

Freiburg drew level a few minutes into the second half but Saviour Godwin and Ifeanyi Matthew restored the Flying Eagles’ two-goal cushion to demoralise any hope of a comeback for the Germans.

Usman Sale, another player not in the coach’s final 21 man team, put the game beyond the reach of the Germans with a fourth for the Flying Eagles to hand them another comprehensive victory.
